Being mechanically inclined, my first pursuit in life was Construction Management. Then the unfortunate events of 9/11 disrupted everything — I was laid off and had to seek a new path. Motivated this time by the deep satisfaction I felt when helping others and by my patience, I retrained and became a Pharmacist.

One day I was inspired by some talented woodworkers to build a few simple planter boxes, and that spark led me to keep practicing and incorporate new ideas into the products. From that moment, my passion for crafting pieces from wood took root and grew into a steady handicraft practice. It feels like my first career has come full circle, returning as the fulfilling path it was always meant to be.
